1/22 Physics update and homework due 1/29

Hi folks,

Today we took some more time with the concept of how impulse effects momentum and we also explored the concept of conservation of momentum.

For homework this week:

Read pages 87 - 99 in the text book

Do Review Questions 1 - 18 on pages 100 and 101

Do Plug and Chug questions 1 - 4 on page 101.

Answers are included.

BTW we WILL have a quiz next week so be prepared to answer questions on impulse, momentum and conservation of momentum.  Also, be sure you know how to work with our momentum problems and the free body diagrams with numbers.
