Problems with the quiz

Hi folks, There were several problems with the quiz.  I went in and changed the quiz and gave credit where credit was due.  When you get a chance you may want to go in and take a look at your changed grades. Sorry for the confusion on that.  I'm still getting used to this thing. Best, Jim Mueller (919) 907-3217

Virtual class info for Physics

Hi all, I hope everyone is safe and well.   So here's the deal for tomorrow's online class.  When you get a chance, go to zoom.us and sign up for a free account.  You can use your Google account or Facebook account if you wish.  When you sign up you'll be prompted to download a "Zoom App" for the computer (or the phone for that matter).   Once you have that you will be ready to go. You will want to do this before class time tomorrow to make sure you're all set. About 15 minutes or so before class click this link https://zoom.us/j/267375566 .  That will take you directly to the class. There's no need to have your camera on so please feel free to keep those turned off.  I "test drove" this today with another class and it went very well so here's hoping things go just as smoothly tomorrow. Looking forward to "seeing" everyone tomorrow at the usual 10:00 time. Best, Jim Mueller (919) 907-3217

New information for Physics

Hi folks, I hope everyone is doing well out there. I've created a Canvas account which will allow us to do this distance class thing quite a bit easier.  Each week I will be posting all of the assignments and the grades to the site.  You all have access to your very own student pages so that you can keep track of your grades and the assignments that you may be missing.  This is new to me so please don't be surprised if there are some bumps in the road but I believe this will make things easier and more accessible for all of us. Look for an email from "Canvas Free For Teachers" .  You may have an email from the site already.  Please be sure that parents and students register for the site.  It's all free and is quite nice.  Your homework for each week will be posted to the site and (I think) you'll get notifications when new things get assigned.  No more hunting through your emails to try to find assignments! Please be sure to sign up for the site a...
